I am home alone as my three girls have all gone to the village for a night. But that is good for me as I will be up late watching the horse racing and waiting for ex Australian champion So You Think run in the Irish Champion Group 1 over 2000mtrs at 12.15am Thai time.
Nong Ja loves her Power Rangers outfit, she loves it so much I had to buy another as she doesn’t want to wear anything else. I do miss all her interruptions that usually occur. But I can have a quiet drink or five and crank the volume of the racing up and just enjoy and relax.
Across from our house next to Big C is an Esan Trade and fashion fair. We wandered along for a look.
We bought Ja a helmet. It was solid and seems well made, as good as we will find around here. In a perfect world you would never take a little kid on a motorbike but in Thailand it happens all the time, heck little kids ride motorbikes all the time.
So anytime we are going our Ja puts on her helmet but it means I also have to. I never wear my helmet when I go across to Big C as it is so close and we don’t go anywhere near a major road but Ja insists I wear it.
This is classic Ja and Noot. Thai girls love to sleep and Ja often ends up with her leg across your chest, on your head and so forth. But the worst is she loves to grab your ear and squeeze and scratch. Apparently her dad used to do this when he was a baby.
So as I sit and wait for the So You Think to race I am watching some cycling and having a quiet scotch and coke.

haha! Baby Jenna does the same... kick to the head, both feet to the mid-section... a backhand across the chest or face... I don't mind at all really, it's a blast.
