Black Caviar Wins 11th Straight Race, William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley.

Sorry to regular readers as this has nothing to do with Thailand but something I really like and being "my blog" I can write what I like. I reported the other week on Black Caviar an amazing 4yo racehorse winning The Newmarket Handicap. She raced again tonight.

Black Caviar has won her 11th straight race. She is rated the best sprinter in the world and shows us this is true without any doubt.

She didn’t have an easy run either. She was slowly away, sat 4 lengths off of Crystal Lily who set a genuine pace. She was caught wide all the way to the turn.

Jockey Luke Nolen shakes her up about 300mtrs out and she takes off, by the 200mtrs for a clear margin and by the 100mtrs he is easing her down and she virtually walks over the line.

After he race Nolen trots her down to the grandstand where she received a standing ovation and cheers from the crowd for a good two minutes.

Nolen threw his goggles into the crowd, a very nice present for a lucky punter. He drops the reigns and stands up in the stirrups and applauds Black Caviar with all the punters on course.

This is what horse racing is all about.
