Thai Sports Day Part 2, Isaan Thailand.

The other week we had our sport day, there was a magnificent and amazing parade and the following are some more pictures of the parade.




The marching band led the way.

And this is my team; I am with the red colours. This young lady looked very happy, even after walking a few kilometres in those boots.

And some more adorable dresses filled by students, one girl had wisely removed her shoes to give her feet a rest.

And a little angel had made an appearance.

This outfit I am not sure about. It might have been inspired by a leprechaun.

This boy deserved a rest; he had carried a princess all the way with three other boys as well.

Aren’t the outfits spectacular? Some of these students slept at the school or were at hairdressers all across Ubon Ratchathani at some ungodly hour having make-up applied and hair done.

The students put in a huge effort for the parade.

And this year they were in the environmental theme, the sun or fire for our team.

I am sure this is meant to be a fireball, maybe a goddess of fire.
