As I have reported before, we often look after our niece, Nong Ja and take her to our local park not far from our house. Near the entrance we use there is a myriad (okay a handful) of food carts attracting attention of people visiting the park. Of course Miss Noot, Benjawan and Nong Ja were in attendance to buy some goodies.

It seems only like yesterday, that Nong Ja could only crawl, but now she flies around on her feet, sometimes a little too fleet footed which usually ends up in a case of speed wobbles. At times it’s nerve wracking but also entertaining.

The girls chose a table near the edge of the lake to eat the goodies, not a bad way to waste an hour or so in the afternoon.

Nong Ja had more sticky rice on her face than in her mouth I believe. She has been such a great kid, no problems at all. She sleeps through the night with no worries, eats any food, a whole range of vegetables to boot.

99% of the time she is just such an easy going kid, nearly always has a huge grin or cheeky look on her face.

This was funny as Miss Noot wanted Nong Ja to eat some more food but Nong Ja wanted to drink more water. Ja is very cunning and knows when to try and put on a little act to get her way.

Her small moans were not working so Nong Ja made more of an effort to get her way. I have thankfully made the girls very aware of not giving into little tantrums and just ignoring her and in no time Ja usually snaps out of it.

Miss Noot had bought sticky rice and grilled chicken for Ja, but Ja ended up eating processed fish balls instead, she had a little of the chicken.

Nong Ja was happily watching a lone break-dancer, he was in a small pavilion behind us attempting different moves. It kept Ja amused.

Miss Benjawan was warning me not to take her picture.

Nong Ja loves snacking on these green beans, and also cucumber as well.

And finally we were on our way for the next adventure at our local park.
