An Afternoon in an Isaan Park, Thailand.

Sepak Takraw
After the girls had finishing eating there fill, we were on our way past the guys who play Sepak Takraw which is virtually volleyball but only using your feet.
Sepak Takraw
When you watch these guys play, the co-ordination and skill shown is very impressive.
Sepak Takraw
This guy is spiking the ball; it looks like he is doing a one handed handstand.
Thai Lake Fish
We had made our way around to see these guys, the hungry marauding fish.
Thai Lake Fish
And in no time, the surface of the water was filled with splashes and explosions as the feeding frenzy started.
Thai Lake Fish
Some of the fish are pushed out of the water as they compete for food.
Feeding Fish in Thailand
The big bag of food costs 15 Thai Baht or 50 cents Australian.
Feeding Fish in Thailand
Nong Ja loves feeding the fish and laughs and yells as the fish feed and at times splash her with water.
Feeding Fish in Thailand
Miss Noot keeping hold of Nong Ja, so she doesn’t become fish food.
Feeding Fish in Thailand
Miss Noot is laughing because; now remember Nong Ja is only 14 months old so her throwing action isn’t perfected yet. Ja at times throws the food backwards, upwards and wherever else. Sometimes it is in her hair, down her shirt and usually a few bits of food end up in the water.
Feeding Fish in Thailand
Nong Ja is like a little sound making machine with all sorts of noises being made while feeding the fish.
Large Carp Thailand
This is one of the huge orange carp that would have to be close to 20kgs, there are plenty this size and even bigger.
Frangipani Thailand
There are a few frangipani trees in the park, the flowers smell great and if there are a few laying on the ground I will collect them for the house.
Nong Ja Meeting New friends
As we were crossing the bridge, a grandmother with her grandchildren was coming the other way. Ja is so inquisitive and will approach other kids with no qualms. I am not sure if this is a good thing or bad.
Nong Ja Meeting New friends
Here Ja is trying to give the other baby a kiss, we had told her to do this and she was happy to oblige, the pram was proving to be an obstacle.
Nong Ja
And then we were on our way again to the amusement of Nong Ja.
Nong Bua Park Ubon Ratchathani
The park is a great place to escape to for an hour or so, a little oasis in Isaan Thailand.

Jason it is a very good thing - encourage it mate. 99.9% of the people in the world are great!

Memok, I just worry at times as she approaches pretty much anyone, including adults. If there is a group of people she just walks over and checks out what is going on.

I agree that her socialising with others is such a great thing and does need to be encouraged and as you stated there are many more good eggs out there than bad eggs.
