The other weekend I ventured to a free concert and some big stars, country stars were on show. The first big star who is number 1 in the country charts at the moment is Ying Titikarn.
This lady is gorgeous and she also has a great voice. The sound of her voice live was unexpected. So many times I hear a person live and am let down. Ying blew me away with her voice.
This is probably Ying’s most popular song. I am going to translate it over the coming days and will then add a link to the translation. It is a beautiful song.
Noometer is a big star in Isaan, he is a true country singer with a classic voice. I didn’t get many pictures of him as I was backstage and blessed to be talking to another star that was performing soon.

And this is Kratae and has been singing a long time at this young age. She had her first huge hit, below at the age of 14 years old. I couldn’t believe how small she is. When I stood next to her, she was about as wide as one of my legs.

She was so professional; she sang, danced, shook hands and collected gifts and didn’t miss a beat. She also had an excellent live voice.
And Bao Wee, he is a bit of a cross between Robbie Williams and Garth Brooks.
The girls love him, a lot. He was mobbed when he first got on the stage and it was funny seeing older guys giving him flowers.

I wasn't hanging out with but got to meet Kratae in person as she was having pictures taken with some dancers.
She was really nice and tiny. I am hoping to meet Miss Tai Oratai in the near future. She was in Ubon last Sunday but I was busy and couldn't go to the concert.
She is comming to Ubon for some more concerts over the next few months, a very popular performer here as you know MJ
