On Saturday just gone we had our English Fun Camp. The sign was incorrect which was very amusing for the start of the day; they must have thought we were coming last month.
English Fun Camp is for the little primary 1 to 3 students. This means a day of giggling 5 to 9 year olds, some very well behaved and others who are absolute terrors. These girls are lovely primary 1 students.
Two of these primary 1 boys are terrors, a real handful that can test your patience to the max in the class at times.
This primary 1 girl is a real gem, she is so lovely and such a pleasure to teach. Her English ability for a 6 year old is well ahead of her most her classmates. She has an infectious personality and if you are having an off day her face and personality can turn that around.
The destination for this camp was the Ubon Buri Resort, I will write more about the resort in the near future.
We had 51 kids ready to start having fun. There were 5 stations with foreign teachers, they had fun activities planned to keep the kids entertained all day.
Mr. A launched into some ‘Ice Breaking’ activities to warm the kids up. Singing in the Rain was his choice of ice breaker.
You think Singing in the Rain would be a little boring, but look at these boys having a ball.
How could it be so much fun? Easy… right! Thumbs up, elbows in, bum out, knees together and tongue out makes it a lot more interesting.

Mr. A was only warming up and soon was going off to the very popular Cranberries song, Zombie. Mr. A was going off.
So the camp started off with a bang, and I will report on how it proceeded and finished in the coming days.
