We ventured back to The Mekong Export Festival as it was the last day and we took along our niece Ja as we wanted to try clothes on her.

Benjawan loves playing with Ja and it is hard to workout who is the bigger baby.

It was hard work being wheeled around in the pram and Ja needed a drink.

Now with any business you need to offer something unique to draw a crowd. In a place where there are many shops selling the same thing, you have to have something up your sleeve to make people want your product. This coffee stall had that.

This is the man who added the X factor to the shop.

It was the way he mixed the drinks, here he has flambéed the mix before pouring it from one stainless steel jug to another.

As he poured the liquid from jug to jug it lit up to offer a spectacular effect that wowed the crowd.

The man knew how to work the crowd; people were stopping to watch the man make the drinks.

He even did some behind the back pouring while the mix was alight.

The man was making business with his unique style. People who stopped to watch would order a drink to see the man perform his pouring tricks.

One thing he did which was brilliant was pirouetting and pouring from jug to jug, he did this without really looking as he did this.

Then to show how good he really was, here he is mixing two different orders, one a coffee and the other cappuccino. I ordered the coffee and it was good.

Now for dinner, I ordered a favourite of mine, this is Somtam Thai. It is sweet and not made from fermented fish sauce. This Dum Thai was delicious, really good.

The girls ordered Somtam Laos; it is bitter and smells really bad because of the fermented fish sauce. I do not like this type of somtam at all.

The girls also ordered somtam with noodles; I do like this if not made with fermented fish sauce. This was spicy, very spicy.

So after dinner we were ready to go home. Miss Noot had Nong Ja and also a balloon that had been purchased for her, to keep her entertained.
So another enjoyable evening in Isaan where life is hard at times.

Love the coffee man!
Did you get a chance to talk to him? I am interested in making contact with him and was wondering if he was a local or not?
Me again!
Just revisiting this blog to see if you have any further information for this interesting bloke!
