Pedophile Laws in Thailand Need to Change.

I read this article a few weeks back about a man called Maurice John Praill, this man is a predator in Thailand and has been for years. He was nicknamed The Ghost by the Child Protection Agency as he looked so scary. If you look in the picture he looks fuc*ing sick.

Now, I have often written about the pathetic laws Thailand has to protect children, their laws in protecting the rights of minors are deplorable. I have written about how Thais and foreigners simply pay fines or marry child brides to get off rape charges.

This man, Maurice John Praill should be exterminated in the cruelest manner possible. The man kept a diary of all the sordid details. He details information about how he makes passes at the young children, gifts he buys and money he paid to children to have sex with them. Some of his victims were as young as 8 years old.

As far back in the 90’s he was taken into police stations for questioning about having sex with underage girls, here he managed to pay fines and kept going on his merry way.

Then in mid 2000, he was arrested for sexually abusing two girls aged 12 and 13. Then finally in December 2001 he was sentenced to 14 years jail. Of course this was appealed and he stayed out on bail.

Then in 2007 he was arrested for raping two girls aged 9 and 11. This case is yet to go to trial. He was let out on bail again.

Then on the 18th of March 2008, he was arrested for molesting an 8 year old boy, this case is also waiting to go to court. He was again released on bail.

These are cases only that are documented. His diary is full of sordid details of meeting and procuring sex with underage kids.

The first girl he had contact with in his diary was called 'Ann' aged 15. But she left him after she acquired 200 pounds for schooling. He said "Does not want to give me even minimal conjugal rights, Do not think this relationship is going to last."

In one entry, he grumbled: "Had to pay 100 baht (less than 2.00 pounds) for a very short time with girl".

The most documented victim was his child bride called “Lek”. He wrote vile and unprintable thoughts about what he wanted to do to her. Then he wrote this between April and May 1992.

April 27: "She's bored in my company. All she wants is room and money. No honey for me."

April 28: "Decision time. Either she goes or we have sex. She decided to go. Jo (another girl) comes to my house. Stays overnight and in the morning demands 200 baht (3 pounds) for sex. I refuse."

April 29: "Noot comes to house with Yoong (two other girls). I offer 150 baht a day and food."

April 30: "Lek comes to house with friend. The aura has faded but I am keen to have her (back)."

For several days Praill invited other girls to his house while still wanting to have sex with Lek, who had refused.

He said of Lek, 'She makes me horny. How long can I take this?'

Then on Wednesday May 6th 1992 he announced in triumph that his grooming had been successful: 'About 10 p.m. I have the best session ever. She seems to enjoy it.'

Lek had eventually given way to his advances and he bought her a watch and earrings after they had sex.

Praill eventually married Lek when she finally turned 15, he paid the parents 40,000 Thai Baht or about 1,000 pounds back then. The marriage only lasted three months.

Thankfully Thailand‘s Supreme Court on Wednesday, 28 January 2009 upheld the 14 year jail sentence and ordered Praiil to start serving his 14 year sentence. I hope he is raped, bashed and with luck murdered in jail.

The Thai government and judicial system should hang its head in shame. All the bribe money that was paid needs to be traced and the people prosecuted. Thailand is a haven for these depraved people; pedophiles do not have a place on this earth and should be wiped from it.

The current prime minister, Mr. Abbhisit needs to launch investigations into this and other cases like this in Thailand. Also he needs to;

Change the laws where pedophiles and rapists cannot pay compensation to parents of underage children and have no conviction recorded.

Parents or agents who willingly give kids to pedophiles for the return of compensation should be jailed for life.

No person can marry an underage minor to escape a rape charge.

The legal age of consent is 16 in Thailand. The rules should not be bent. The amount of times I have seen a 20 plus year old marrying a 13-15 year old girl is sickening. The person should be getting charged with having sex with a minor and not getting a marriage certificate.

Anyway I could go on and on. So to Thailand, change your laws for the good of your kids, enforce laws and stop the bribery pedophiles have used. Smash these rings and arrest the ring leaders no matter how high in society they are.

Too all pedophiles you are the scourge of the earth. You deserve nothing less than the most painful death one can imagine. You make me sick. If you had raped a child of mine I would kill you without a blink of an eye. This is how all people need to view you. The law worldwide should be death for pedophilia.
