Flowers, ladyboys and a Thai girl, Isaan Thailand.

I would like to say thank you to a person who has donated 100 pounds to Andrew Hicks lunches appeal for rural school kids. The person wants to remain anonymous and I will honour that wish. There was also a carrot dangled by them. If I can lose the 17kg that I stated they will donate another 100 pounds. So that is some encouragement and incentive. If anyone else wants to donate any amount to Andrew’s lunch appeal, please click on the link above and all the details are there on how to send the money. Again a big thank you Anon.
Flowers
A few weeks ago we had Assumption Day at our school. I forgot that I had said I would reveal how much money we raised from selling the flowers in the Popularity Contest. Each small flower was worth ten Baht each. Medium size 50 baht and the largest 100 Baht each. This year there was just over 120,000 Thai Baht raised. This is less than the previous year but still a good earner.
3 boys and a girl
Also I said you had to try and guess the girl amongst the ladyboys. The girl of course is on the far right in black. I know it was easy to pick.

I have been following my exercise programme, the couch to 5k running programme. I have actual done it every day. It is meant to be done three times a week with a rest day in between but I am enjoying it and it really isn’t too strenuous. I have to admit that I have had a little lactic acid in the legs.

Tomorrow I have planned to go and look over the Sunee Grand Hotel convention centre, rooms and Water Park. I hope to get plenty of pictures of this all and have it uploaded in the next few days.

Brunty.

Looking forward tot he sunee hotel report. Can you please ask to have a look at their family rooms or at least find out about them. Are the a room with a separate bedroom or just an extra large sized room etc.

Just checking that you got my email that I sent to your hotmail address last night.

Thanks again Brunty for landing the big donation for our schol lunch programme at our village school. (See www.thaigirl2004.blogspot.com and www.adoptavillageschool.org).

It's a great little project and makes sure that school kids in a poor village do not go hungry during the school day.

I'm hoping that you go hungry though at least a little bit as I want you to trim up and land that repeat donation for us.

Get jogging!

Andrew it isn't a problem. I am more than happy to help Thai kids in rural areas. I live in a large city and teach at a private school where the students get every thing given to them on a silver platter.

I do have extra motivation now that if I lose the weight and make the goal weight another 100 pounds will go your way.

Dear Sir,
I am very interested in your blog etc. not least because I happen to have met a rather charming Isaan girl who will take me to Surin. Is there any possibility of teaching English out there for a UK Graduate 50 years young ?
