I parked and walked back to the road, the air force bus was turning up with more families and also plenty making there way on foot.

There were plenty of people heading into the base, if you had no bag to be searched it was easy to walk in, the other line was a little longer and you had to wait while your bag was quickly looked over.

Inside I could see a sea of people scattered across the grounds.

Inside a hangar some air force personal were giving a bombing display.

They used the miniature replica fighter jets and two darts were placed under the jet held in place by magnets. The jets then circled and the bombs were dropped by a lucky kid using a simple switch, hopefully the darts hit the targets which comprised of drinks, candy and chips.

No festival in Thailand takes place without shows and talent contests.

There were of course games as well.

Styrofoam planes of different sizes were available for purchase and were popular with the kids. I seen and ducked a few being thrown about the place.

The radar display explained how radars work. There was also information in English which surprised me.

There was military hardware on display but not to touch.

Now that is a gun.

There were also fire engines on display.

And another state of the art fire truck.
I was getting closer to the actual fighter jets, albeit slowly. Those pictures will be up in the next few days.
