Teachers' night out, Thailand.

The other night I went to dinner with teachers from my school. It was a welcoming party for the new teachers. It was a good turn out.












These are two of the new teachers. Mr. P is from England and Miss G is from Thailand but has lived in Hawaii for a while and speaks excellent English.
These are some of the Filipino teachers.














This is the new kindergarten teacher Mr. I and Miss Sunanta is the year 1 homeroom teacher and also Thai language teacher. They aren’t a couple.












The two girls in the white shirts are Thai teachers, Miss Ratchie and Miss Ja. My team teacher is in the middle Miss Nareumon, all lovely ladies.
This is the boss of EBP Miss B and Miss Ja, looks like mother and daughter.

This young lady joined us, she met the man beside her Mr. L at the local Muay Thai club and he asked her along.
Mr. P was telling stories to the Thai teachers.
Now, for the food. These were homemade spring rolls made by Miss B.












This is a large fish in a soup like sauce. The fish has already been cooked; under the fish is an oil burner to keep it hot.
The vegetables and vermicelli you add to the soup or stock with the fish and cook.
This was delicious and is called “Lup Moo”, it is a spicy pork dish.












This melted in my mouth, chicken and cashews, a great dish.

It was a good night and I think everyone enjoyed. The total bill came to just under 3,000 Baht for at least 20 people with drinks. The school paid for the dinner which was an added bonus as well.
