Well, it has been all go lately. I have had too much on and not enough time for fun. I am heading into the silly season. That is final school exams. So that means composing exams and also getting all my paperwork ready to submit so I can walk out of the school and not go near the place for 8 weeks.
I have been reading some great blogs, well ones I like. I have been reading The NH Bushman or MJ and Hui-chen in Taiwan . MJ writes great posts and the pictures are always top notch. He calls a spade a spade and has many interesting stories from his past that are usually very humourous. Vern at Thaipulse always writes great posts. He doesn’t update every day as he has many little projects on the go. Thamawat is a Thai/Danish girl born and raised in Demark but comes to Thailand to visit family. Always writes good posts and many are very funny. Swingin' da MoODz or she also calls herself devilish angel. She is a Thai airhostess and doesn’t get to post a lot but she has many great pictures from across the globe and also writes funny stuff as well. Oh, she is a little cute too.
Forest Wisdom written by an Englishman living in Isaan Thailand. He is a Buddhist and writes about forest Buddhism. I am not a Buddhists but read his blog daily as he always writes about things that makes you look at them froma totally different point of view. He had problems a little while ago regarding his visa. Any foreigner in his shoes would have been going nuts and flipping out but Gary offered a view that not many of us would have seen. I wish I had the patience to meditate. Steve's Weblog is a man who has lived in Thailand for over 10 years and writes a column at a Thai newspaper. He writes what he wants to write about and anything that is censored out of the paper run article he prints the full article here and also writes about so much else on Thailand. He is a wealth of information on Thailand.
English Girl in Isaan is a girl writing about love, work, Thai ways and so much more. It’s a fantastic insight from the eyes of a girl from the UK. A big fan and you should definitely check it out. My Thai Village Life is written by a retired 53 year old guy living in the sticks. He has just built a house and documented the entire job. He writes incredibly well. I am not sure if he was a writer before as he posts are always top of the line stuff.
andres in taiwan is a blog MJ put me on to. I laughed at his latest post. He went to work and left his lovely infant daughter for the day and when he returned all her hair was missing. They had shaved her head, a ritual thing and no-one told him about it. Great pictures to go with the posts.
My Several Worlds is authored by a girl called Carrie. All I can say is that it's top tuff. It’s the cream on top of the strawberry. Fantastic posts and the pictures are unbelievable. Some of her pictures make you lose time as you are staring at them taking in so much detail. This is a must read.
There are many more blogs but sadly I am running out of time. I have to read a few blogs and get some sleep. Last night I watched football until 12.30 and then golf until 3.30am. I got up at 6.30am and right now I am feeling worse for wear. If I was at home in Australia I would have a few shots of Bundaberg Rum and I would be right for the rest of the night. People swear it sends them crazy and into fits of rage and I can vouch to this. When I was younger I loved this stuff and drank it like milk. I blame it for getting me into many embarrassing situations. Gratefully I don’t drink anymore or very rarely and also Bundaberg Rum isn’t sold here in Thailand, well not here in Isaan.

Oh wow - thnx for the kind words, Brunty. :)
Well, I'll be missing reading your regular blogpost, especially since Vern's stopped blogging as much as well. Might as well go out and get myself a decent job, since I have no reasons to procrastinate online. ;)
Well, I wish you good luck in the near future (most of my in-laws are teachers, so I have first hand experience on the toll exams take on teachers), and enjoy your freedom afterwards with Noot! :)
(Hey, did she/Ben ever make progress into stardom? Been waiting axiously to find out ;)
xoxo

Line. They are all true and not candy coated. Don't get a decent job, that's crazt talk :)
Thanks for the wish of luck as it gets hectic and a little crazy but holidays are so near, I can smell the ocean already.
Ben is progressing well. She is still singing a lot but I moved her to a school so she can concentrate on her grades and also work on her voice. Maybe a few more years but I believe she can do it, if she really wants to.
I couldn't help but laugh so much on you post about messing up dates. Very funny Line. Oh and congrats on fitting your "skinny jeans".
A 26 is a small toosh young lady. I am happy that you are happy.
Thanks for the link love! I've been enjoying your blog courtesy of MJ as well, but I've had problems leaving comments for you. (No wonder you're moderating after all the drama). In any case, this is Carrie. I host My Several Worlds and Taiwan Photographers. Pleased to meet you! I'll be back for more.
Brunty, that's for sharing the love! keep up the excellent work!
I'm a little late to the party, here. I just came across your brief, concise and very complimentary review of my blog.
That was a very nice "warm fuzzy" and quite frankly made my day. I was too busy living, before, to do any writing. I have discussed my more recent motivations on the blog so won't repeat myself.
Thanks again for your kind words.
