I reported earlier last week about a man in Australia who crashed his car and then done a runner and left his 2 young boys to die and not help them. Post here Coward father runs and lets sons die .
We I have just read the latest update about this lovely young man.
Only minutes before the tragic accident happened he left a 37 metre ‘Burnout’ in a car park of a small shopping centre.
He was also witnessed by members of the public to be ‘fishtailing and accelerating to excessive speed'.
It’s alleged that he lost control of the car, hitting three trees before becoming 'airborne and barrel rolling' a number of times killing his 2 year old son instantly who suffered severe head injuries and his 7 month old son died 22 hours later.
He was meant to turn himself into police on the Saturday but failed to report to the police station. Police issued a warrant for his arrest and he eventually surrendered. He was at the Hospital with his other son when the life support machine was switched off.
Now, here is one interesting pieces of news. He shouldn’t have been behind the wheel of a car as he had been disqualified last December for drink-driving. This says a lot about this guy. After police searched his car they found many bourbon cans and also cannabis.
When the toxicology reports comes back I am 100% sure they will be positive for drugs and also he will be over the legal limit for driving a car.
The article said there were more than 15 family members and friends, including the mother of the children at the court case yesterday. It doesn’t say anything about his girlfriend’s family being there. They sound like a real trailer Park family and might get a telephone call from Jerry Springer or Ricky Lake.
The Judge has remanded him in custody until August for his committal hearing which I think is great. I hope it’s a really long and drawn out case.
Now this man wants to be allowed to attend his children’s funerals. He wants to see them being buried. His lawyer is going to plead that they release him so he can attend the funerals.
Do you think he should be able to go? I mean he didn’t worry about trying to save his kids, he ran away like an injured dog. I personally don’t think he should be released I hope he is suffering and is hurting a lot. I hope his heart is torn in a million pieces. I hope he lives a miserable and long life behind bars.
Is this too harsh? Am I being unreasonable? I don’t think so.
He didn’t have a license because of drink driving. He shouldn’t have been behind the wheel. He obviously has a problem with alcohol and drugs. So do I have any sympathy for him? No, not one teeny little bit. Not for even one millionth of a second.
He took 2 innocent trusting kids lives away well before their time. They couldn’t control their destiny. They were too young to have a voice and express an opinion; they trusted their father who was meant to be their protector. This man was meant to shield them from being hurt not instigating it by creating an environment where danger is all around them.
Thankfully there is finally a sensible Judge. He said that the courts cannot rule on emotion and must only consider the facts. Thank god a smart Judge these are so few and far between. I just hope the judicial system finds more of them to enforce he law.
Well that’s my personal view and rant.

Yes it's something that really gets to me as well. What made me so angry was how he just left his little boys to die and not try and comfort them.
He was more worried about himself and what would happen when the police arrived.Really sickening.

No, he should not be able to attend the funerals..maybe in 100 years (when he gets out of jail) he can wobble to his kids grave site and weep for his stupidity.
That's exactly how I feel Franky. Hope he rots and suffers for many years behind bars.
